The HalalVerified Marketplace helps neighbours sell, give away and lend things to each other. Please keep it friendly, honest and halal.
Not allowed
- Alcohol, pork products and anything sold as non-halal food
- Gambling, lottery tickets and betting
- Weapons, ammunition, knives sold as weapons, and fireworks
- Tobacco, vapes and drugs, including prescription medicines
- Counterfeit, stolen or recalled goods, and live animals
- Adult content, services that need a licence you don’t hold, and anything illegal in Australia
Staying safe
- Use the site’s messages. Don’t share bank details, and never pay a stranger in advance.
- Meet in a busy public place in daylight, or bring someone with you.
- Check the item before you pay. Payments happen in person; HalalVerified doesn’t take or hold money and isn’t part of the sale.
- Report anything suspicious with the Report button.
We may remove listings or accounts that break these rules. Listings close after 30 days unless renewed.
